Roller coaster of enthusiasm

I put things up here one day, then take them down the next.  I'm on a roller coaster of enthusiasm.

I found this graph with the search phrase "roller coaster of enthusiasm."

From a website specializing in religious "congregation management," it seems awful complex and confused to me.  If I was running a congregation and worried about waning interest, I'd skip the graphs and go right to speaking in tongues and snake handling -- there is nothing like a raucous communal trance state shared with poisonous serpents to put people in touch with The Spirit and fill the pews.

A roller coaster is pretty simple, after all: what goes up must come down -- but you don't let that stop you from going up again.
