Bright as a Lama's Robe

Speaking of drab behemoths on 6th above 23rd, I am disappointed that the yellow building above left at 6th and 27th -- and below left, where it matches the Dalai Lama's robe (see lower right corner) -- has been repainted the shade of drab above right.

There aren't nearly enough yellow buildings in the city and, with construction money drying up, yellow sheetrock -- like on the downtown yellow-jacket, below right -- will become scarce too.


So just to warm things up as winter approaches, I've included some yellow sheetrock from Long Island City, below left, a Caution Yellow holdout in Williamsburg, below right, and some previous yellow from last spring.
