
Other than some evil elf-bots, the windows at Macy's were less interesting than the crowds in front of them taking pictures.

The windows have a "letter to Santa" theme -- it seems Santa still does without the email and databases that could bring his operation up to FedEx standards -- where kids' letters go through the looking glass (Alice), then are sucked up by a tornado (Dorothy), then travel by wormhole (Spock) to Santa HQ.
Note the windows' swirling envelopes, and the trippy text that's readable in the photo above left.
