Above and below, the metallic toothbrush top of "The Setai II," at 5th & 36th. It gleams so brightly above, from Park Ave. South, that it nearly blinds my camera. The brush looks a little too harsh for teeth, but maybe it could be used to comb out the Trump Parc's Cornrow Roof?
It turns out that "Setai" is a made-up word, from Indonesian, for "South Beach" -- as in Miami, where the flagship hotel of the Setai brand/lifestyle sits. This building is Setai #2 because there's a Setai #1 downtown, with an entrance that is "suitably imposing and creates a transition space from the busy Financial District that is long enough to allow mind-body adjustment." Frankly, after researching the The Setai Lifestyle, I doubt there's enough room in the universe for a transition space that could cure The Setai People. I think they'd have better luck if they sat in a hot tub bubbling with cheese and visualized themselves as nacho chips about to be scarfed by a giant, pimply 7-11 Person.

Meanwhile, lining the top of the plastic plaid tower to the left, at 5th and 38th, are what appear to be bird houses. If they are trying to organize the pigeons, they are wasting their time.[ Earlier at "The Setai II" ]
